Okay, back my story. I was going through my scriptures when I came upon my list of things that I want to accomplish before I pass on from this life. I started this list about 4 years ago when Jen, one of the most incredible people I have ever met, spoke to our Young Women about setting goals. Let me tell you a little bit about Jen. Jen was attending BYU when she came upon an ad in the newspaper. It was about the USA Bobsled team. They were holding try-outs. Jen had never been in a bobsled, but decided to take the plunge and attempt the try-out. Well, she made it!!! Oh, my, she is FABULOUS!!!! She is such an incredible inspiration to me!!!
Anyway, she encouraged us to make a list of things that we wanted to accomplish before we died. That night, I started my list...4 years later, I am still adding to my list. I have accomplished a couple of things that were listed. I just love the thrill of crossing things off my list. As I was re-reading my list, it reminded me that I needed to be more focused in life and have more adventures. So, friends, here is my list:

My question to you is...."what do you want to accomplish in life...?"

There are so many thing I want to accomplish in my life. Here are a few.
See the view from the top of the Eiffle Tower
Own a boat
Visit Prince Edward Island
See a sunset in the Carribean
Ride a gondola through the canals in Venice
and most of all, become the best mom I can be.
Michelle-
I think you will have NO PROBLEM with crossing off the goals on your list. Have you ever TRIED to publish a card or scrapbook page? Because I bet it wouldn't take much. I made a list when I was in high school, and it was pretty ridiculous. It included things like:
-Own 50 pairs of shoes
-Have 32 kids
-Perform on Broadway
-sing in Carnegie Hall
Things have changed...now I would like to:
-know where all my shoes are
-have as many kids as Heavenly Father will bless us with (and my sanity can handle)
-see a musical performed on Broadway
-sing to and with my kids
More broad goals would be:
-Travel anywhere outside of the US besides Tijuana
-Go on a cruise
-Be a wife, mother and friend that is loved, can be trusted, and is everyone's favorite. =0)
Cami--I think I need to add those to my list, too. Gerb, is it okay to have 82 pairs of shoes, 87 skirts...? I better stop before I get into too much trouble!!
I knew that if anyone could surpass my dream of owning 50 pair of shoes, it would be you.
I'm only up to 11, and I can't ever find both shoes to a pair at the same time because they often become "dress-ups" for my girls!
