I love being in St. George. It was definitely a much needed break. Today we spent most of the day at the Children's Museum and swimming in the pool.

Tucano’s!!
Day 57…
The other night (Wednesday), I attended a celebration dinner at Tucano’s for Austin and Kaylie. I have never eaten there and I knew that I was in for an adventure. Believe me, it definitely was an adventure. They have a delicious salad bar with a bunch of crazy different tasting foods. Then, the meat…all different kinds are brought to your table. I was trying so hard to be brave…well, maybe I wasn’t as brave as Brylie. She would try different types of meat but there was one I wouldn’t try…chicken hearts. Nope, not this girl.
I love this girl. Oh my goodness, I could not believe that she ate it.

It is graduation day!!!
Day 56…
It is graduation day!!! I love graduations. I love to the see the look of accomplishment on the graduate’s faces (and that of their families). I love celebrating their lives and all that they have done to get to this point in their lives. I had the opportunity to attend two different graduations today.
My niece, Kaylie, graduated from Spanish Fork High and my nephew, Austin, graduated from Springville High. They both amazing and I am so grateful to be their aunt. I am definitely proud of them and I am excited to see what the next chapter of their lives bring.

A pleasantly relaxing day!
Day 52…
I love being outside and relaxing in the sunshine but the problem with this weekend is there hasn’t been very much sunshine. It has been enjoyable at times but a tad bit cold at other times. I didn’t pack very many warm clothes and I really wish that I had. I am grateful for the opportunity to be here and just be with my family. Sometimes life gets so crazy and I feel like I am being pulled here and there, not knowing what I should be doing or fixing or saying but here…it is just nice to sit and read and think.
Jessica, Brylie and Shad
We took drive around the lake (reservoir) and it started to rain on us. It wasn’t too bad but we did fill the dribbles. I love just spending time on the water. I find it pleasantly relaxing. Aw…I am not ready for this weekend to be over. After the ride on the lake, Dad fixed us some delicious Dutch Oven Ribs.
Aw…delicious!!!

Aw…just another lovely day camping!
Day 51…
I received this snapchat from a sweet friend today. It totally made me smile. Love these girls!! Thanks Meriah and Anna for being amazing girls!! I love you two so much!!!
I love spending time with my family. We can be crazy and have a good time with the simplest things. Brylie started to dance and Dad joined her. Aw…lots of fun and laughter when you are around this little one.
Mom purchased a bean bag toss game and it kept us entertained for hours. It was the best 20 dollars that was ever spent for entertainment. It was awesome!
It was definitely a great day filled with plenty of laughter!

Favorite Things Friday….I love traditions!!
Some of my most favorite things are…
traditions!
Some of my most favorite things are traditions. I love traditions and we have plenty…from Easter egg hunts, to camping on Memorial Day weekend, to fireworks (with plenty of popcorn and licorice) at Art City Days, to fireworks and softball tournaments for the Fourth of July…the list goes on and on. I love spending time with my family doing all the crazy things that we do. For the past several years, on the day after Thanksgiving, we attend Spanish Fork”s Light Parade. No matter if it is cold, snowing or windy, we are there. We sit in the same place every year curled up in a plethora of blankets trying to stay warm. It is quite the adventure especially when Brylie is involved. She screams, cheers and waves at the parade participants pass by. This year, the train (pictured above) was struggling with it’s smokestack. The train engineer was trying to make the fireworks come out of the smokestack. When he finally succeeded, Brylie screamed and cheered him on. It was like he made the most incredible invention. It was awesome. She makes everything so much more fun!!! Aw…what a great adventure. I love traditions.!!!
What are some of your traditions? Care to share?
