Sunshine! Glorious Sunshine!

sunshine facejpg

Have you ever had an experience where you are in someone’s home and you feel complete peace? Amongst that feeling of peace that is radiating throughout your whole being, you feel such a great amount of happiness. I love those two feelings when they come together. It is almost like having your whole day filled with glorious sunshine. Oh, blessed sunshine.

I was able to experience this amazing amount of peace and happiness while visiting one of my favorite friends, Gerb. She is amazing. I am always so grateful when we get to laugh and talk. Her love for life is so contagious. Anyway, Gerb has been pretty much confined to her room due to having foot surgery almost 4 weeks ago (the day after giving birth to a precious little boy). So, as we sat on her bed, we laughed and chatted, I could just feel this great amount of peace. It was awesome. She is so amazing.

As we were chatting, her family started to arrive home from church. All of her children came in her room to greet their mom. You can just feel how much love that they have for her. Her oldest children gather on the bed and the floor and join in on our conversation. It was great. I love how her family just loves each other. It is so incredible to watch and to be a part of it. Her children are amazing. It was just an awesome experience---one of those experiences that you do not want to end. I loved how we were all in her room having fun talking. It was awesome!

Thanks Gerb…you and your family brought lot sunshine into my life today! I LOVED IT!!! I am so grateful that I can call you FRIEND!!  I am grateful that I can feel so much peace and happiness in your home.  I LOVE IT!

And we all love sharing our home with you! When you left, Julia said, "Sister Gren is so awesome." And Allen t.y. said, "She's going to be a great mom." Thank you so much for coming to visit me. You MADE MY DAY! We all love you. You're awesome.
