Tonight I was at my parent’s home. I was not feeling that great so I was curled up on the couch—you know, all snuggly and warm. My brother, sister-in-law and my adorable niece came to visit my parents. Brylie noticed that I was curled up on the couch, grabbed my mom’s kindle, a diet coke and decided to snuggle up next to me. She was chatting away, watching her kindle and drinking her diet coke-just like a grown-up. It made me giggle. So, of course, I had grab my phone and sneak a picture. HEE HEE! Aw…I just love this girl!!!! She truly melts my heart.

UP!
This evening, we held our New Beginnings for our ward. The Beehives and Sister Bishoff wanted to focus on the movie “UP!” and the theme “Adventure Awaits”. It was so much fun to watch their ideas come to life. They worked so diligently on the decorations and on the program. I am so lucky to be apart of this amazing group of leaders and young women. These are the “Adventure Kits” that each of the young women received.
Aw…what an awesome evening!!!

Youth Service Project…
Tonight, we took our youth the Community Action Services and Food Bank. We were able to sort cans of food, make Senior bags and stock shelves. The presentation beforehand was powerful as they explained how they help families in our community that do not have any money…not even to purchase a loaf of bread. Our youth were awesome and excited to help. I am so grateful to serve with so many wonderful little friends.
Afterwards, we headed on over to Wendy’s for delicious Frostys!!

Are you up for a challenge?
Who would like to join me for a 40 day General Conference reading challenge?
How does it work?
You read one conference talk per day for 40 days in a row!
You might ask…what is the challenge about this because you usually read it before next General Conference? This time is really a challenge because it starts next Sunday and it will end on Christmas day! Just think about it…what better gift could you give yourself than the gift of following the prophet and honoring the Savior at this wonderful time of the year when our hearts are filled with gratitude and remembering the life of Christ!
What do you get in return (other than a stronger testimony of our Prophet, the Gospel and an amazing testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ)…a book mark to keep you on schedule.
So…are you up for the challenge?
Let me know if you would like to join me and I will drop off a bookmark to you.
